Larabanga: Stories from the Sahel, is an anthology of short stories rooted in the Sahel belt of Northern, Upper East, and Upper West regions.  Larabanga is seeking all styles and sub-genre, including humorous fiction.  Additional consideration will be given to writers who live or are from the region.



SUBMISSION WINDOW: September 3, 2018 – October 4, 2018





LENGTH: 600-5000 words.



PAYMENT: GHC200 + contributor copy. Payment will be made upon acceptance. Our preferred method is payment by cheque.



FORMAT:  RTF or DOC. Standard Manuscript Format or some close approximation.

PROPOSED PUBLICATION DATE: Tuesday December 3, 2018

WHAT WE WANT:

We’re looking for original short stories rooted in the Sahel belt of Ghana.  Authorized English translations of original stories, particularly from regional writers, are also welcomed and encouraged.
