Stérilisation, programme d’épuration raciale, le régime nazi n’a rien épargné aux Noirs. L’expérience coloniale allemande, si elle fut moins longue que celles des autres nations européennes (France, Belgique, Angleterre, Italie,…) fut tout aussi brutale et sanguinaire. Le régime hitlérien en a porté les stigmates. Quantité de Noirs sont morts dans les camps nazis, où ils ont subi des expériences médicales les plus inimaginables et cruelles.

Documentary film about the experiences of black Germans in Nazi Germany.
The story of black and mixed race people in Nazi Germany who were sterilised, experimented upon, tortured and exterminated in the Nazi concentration camps. Includes archive film and interviews with survivors and their relatives.

The film uses interviews with survivors and their families as well as archival material to document the Black German Holocaust experience; it also explores the history of German racism, suggests links between German colonialism and Nazi policy, and examines the treatment of Black prisoners-of-war.

Die Dokumentation zeigt die wenig beachtete Geschichte von 20.000 Schwarzen und Menschen of Colour, die zur Zeit des Nationalsozialismus in Deutschland lebten.

Mit bisher ungesehenen europäischen und amerikanischen Filmaufnahmen erzählt der Film die brutale Geschichte von Sterilisation, medizinischen Experimenten, Folter und Vernichtung in den Konzentrationslagern.

Das Schicksal Schwarzer Opfer während des Holocausts wurde von den folgenden Regierungen Deutschlands nicht anerkannt und Ansprüche auf Wiedergutmachung seitens der Verwandten wurden abgelehnt. Dieser Film bietet den verbliebenen Überlebenden endlich die Möglichkeit, ihre Geschichte zu erzählen.
