Stef vit sa trentaine un peu paumée, un peu marginale, entre sa petite amie Doly, chanteuse de rock, son copain Ludo, gamin passionné de boxe et sa moto. Un jour, qui commence comme un autre, tout va basculer dans l'existence de ces trois personnages : Doly va décrocher un contrat et Ludo être engagé dans un match important. Pour permettre à Doly d'avoir sa sono, Stef, en solitaire va, sur sa moto, commettre un "casse" minable… La malchance aidant, il tombe sur un barrage de police qui le contraint à se réfugier dans une église dont il prend le prêtre en otage… La rencontre entre ces deux hommes qui ont le même âge, mais qui ont suivi des voies diamétralement opposées est une de ces rencontres magistrales après laquelle rien ne peut plus être comme avant. Le temps de cette nuit, pendant que la police cerne l'église, que Doly et Ludo cherchent Stef, que Stef et le prêtre approchent Dieu, la Vie, l'Amour, la Mort comme ils ne l'ont jamais fait. Un autre personnage, sorti de la nuit, va s'immiscer dans la quête de Doly et Ludo : Lola, prostituée mondaine qui porte on ne se sait quel secret. Stef lives in his thirties, a little lost, a little marginal, between his girlfriend Doly, a rock singer, his boyfriend Ludo, a kid who loves boxing, and his motorcycle. One day, which starts like any other, everything will change in the existence of these three characters: Doly will get a contract and Ludo will be engaged in an important match. To allow Doly to have her sound system, Stef, alone on his motorcycle, will commit a shabby "robbery"… The bad luck helping, he falls on a police roadblock which forces him to take refuge in a church where he takes the priest as hostage… The meeting between these two men who are the same age, but who have followed diametrically opposed paths, is one of those masterful encounters after which nothing can ever be the same again. The time of that night, while the police surround the church, that Doly and Ludo are looking for Stef, that Stef and the priest approach God, Life, Love, Death as they have never done before. Another character, out of the night, will interfere in Doly and Ludo's quest: Lola, a worldly prostitute who carries no one knows what secret.
