Lors de l’enterrement de sa mère, Samir croise le regard d’un inconnu, son père. Celui-ci l’entraîne dans une affaire familiale qui le plonge au cœur de la population kabyle de Belleville et de ses traditions. Une expérience qui le bouleverse et fait ressurgir son passé d’une étrange manière. Alors qu’il se confronte à ses choix, Samir va s’affranchir de son enfance et de son clan pour devenir un homme libre, un « Apache ».
