Le film Zombie est une traversée entre espoir et dystopie dans un Kinhasa hallucinée passant de la culture du salon de coiffure, le clubbing futuriste en solitaire, la parade urbaine à la gloire d’un dictateur en campagne (Papa Bollo) et le western moderne à la Takeshi Kitano.
En parallèle, le film repose sur le rapport presque charnel que l’on entretien avec nos téléphones.
L’appareil devenant comme une excroissance de la main et nous donnant le don d’ubiquité…

The film Zombie is a journey between hope and dystopia in a hallucinated Kinhasa that goes from the culture of the hairdresser’s salon, futuristic clubbing in solitude, the urban parade to the glory of a dictator in the countryside (Papa Bollo) and the modern western à la Takeshi Kitano.
At the same time, the film is based on the almost carnal relationship we have with our telephones.
The device becoming like a protrusion of the hand and giving us the gift of ubiquity…
