Josza Anjembe a suivi pendant quatre ans un groupe de danseurs. Le film est sélectionné au Festival des cultures urbaines de Paris. Le film raconte l’émergence du KRUMP (pour « Kingdom Radically Uplifted Mighty Praise », soit « Éloge puissant d’un royaume radicalement élevé »), danse inspirée par le « clown dancing », inventé en 1992 par Thomas Johnson, bouleversé par la violence des émeutes raciales. Nouveau genre musical en France auquel se confrontent Warrenne, Grihka et Andréa, première femme, française, blanche, devant les Krump Kings, les dieux du Krump, juges de la première compétition 100% Krump en France.

Septembre 2005, « Rize » sort dans les salles de cinéma françaises. Trois ans plus tard, le Krump s’invite en France.

Les prosélytes dansent. Ils réalisent des gestes d’une rare compléxité, à une vitesse d’exécution qui dépasse l’entendement. Ils pénètrent par endroits les sphères de la transe. Un mouvement est né. Pourtant aux Etats-Unis, on krump pour en finir avec les gangs, le ghetto et la haine raciale. Mais qu’en est-il en France ?

Josza ANJEMBE a capté la naissance d’un mouvement et part à la rencontre de danseurs d’un nouveau genre.

Warrenne et Grihka partent à la source. Leur objectif : ramener le Krump en France. Avec eux, Andréa, première femme, française, blanche, se confronte à ce monstre ultra viril. Les Krump Kings, les dieux du Krump, sont les juges de la première compétition 100% Krump en France. Plusieurs dizaines de krumpeurs prennent part à la compétition. Parmi eux, Big Wolf, Lucas et Coco, étoiles montantes du Krump…
