Alger 2019. Alors que le Hirak bat son plein et que l’espoir d’un changement politique profond souffle sur l’Algérie, Merouane, ancien ministre corrompu, et Khadidja, son exubérante épouse, n’ont qu’une idée en tête : revendre leurs nombreux biens mal acquis et quitter le pays avec leur fille Sarah, avant que la justice ne les rattrape. Mais dans l’urgence et la panique de ce départ forcé, chaque membre de la famille s’affirme et les antagonismes se multiplient. Les liens forts qui soudent la famille résisteront-ils ?

Algiers 2019. While the Hirak is in full swing and the hope of a profound political change is blowing over Algeria, Merouane, a corrupt former minister, and Khadidja, his exuberant wife, have only one idea in mind: to sell their numerous ill-gotten gains and leave the country with their daughter Sarah, before the law catches up with them. But in the urgency and panic of this forced departure, each member of the family asserts himself and antagonisms multiply. Will the strong ties that bind the family together hold?
