Au Caire en 2011, juste avant la révolution qui mit fin à 30 années d’état autoritaire, un policier souffrant de stress post-traumatique doit s’occuper de la fille de 12 ans d’un officier qui a été kidnappé. En dépit de leur différence évidente, de milieu social, d’âge et de sexe, ils traversent ensemble les prémices d’une révolution, comme deux outsiders, ce qui bouleverse leurs vies. Une comédie noire sur l’autorité en temps troublés et la capacité à trouver de la beauté et de l’humour dans la violence et le chaos.

A dark satire about Adham, a low-ranking jaded cop who is suffering from panic attacks. He’s ordered to save and protect Tanya, the teenager daughter of his boss from a burnt down zoo and they must cross together the chaotic lawless Cairo streets in turmoil of the 2011 Egyptian Revolution. Adham is only trying to survive all this chaos / turmoil and maintain his sanity in an apocalyptic settings of escaping animals running in the middle of the road, cars flipped over and burnt and deserted government buildings.
