Rachid est un ouvrier maghrébin qui, chômeur, se retrouve grâce à un ami embauché dans une usine dans le Nord de la France. Participant à une manifestation de solidarité lors de l'assassinat d'un des leurs, il est dénoncé et part à Paris où il rencontre Mohamed. Ce dernier, avant d'être expulsé pour avoir organisé une grève, le sensiblilise et lui fait prendre conscience de son exploitation. Rachid poursuit son engagement dans la lutte contre le racisme.

Rachid, unemployed, is a North African worker who, thanks to a friend, finds a job in a factory in the North of France. While taking part in a solidarity protest for the murder of one of them, he is reported and leaves for Paris, where he meets Mohamed. The latter, before being deported for having organized a strike, helps him be aware that he’s being exploited. Rachid remains committed to the fight against racism.
