Trois couples quadragénaires, s’étant perdus de vue depuis les folles années de l’université, se retrouvent réunis dans la villa de l’un d’eux (Abdelkhalek et Rachida). Après avoir reçu une étrange invitation, attribuée à Rajaâ, leur ancienne amie portée disparue depuis leur dernière rencontre, et bien que fort intrigués, les trois couples accourent à cette adresse qui leur était inconnue…
Les retrouvailles ont lieu finalement et Rajaâ, quoique absente physiquement, est bien présente dans la mémoire de chacun. Les six autres ont formé trois ménages bien que pas toujours selon les affinités amoureuses de leur jeunesse : Kamal qui aimait Rachida s’est marié avec Amal qui était amoureuse de Abdelkhalek ; Samir, convoité par Rachida mais qui aimait Amal, s’est marié avec Souad qui n’aimait pas spécialement les hommes !
Il n’y avait pas que Kamal qui aimait la belle et douce Rajaâ, Abdelkhalek avait une très grande amitié avec elle que beaucoup assimilaient à un amour non déclaré. Souad aussi avait une affection confuse et trouble pour Rajaâ… Mais Rajaâ est introuvable. Personne n’est arrivé à retrouver ses traces…
Au cours de la soirée, les anciennes affinités amoureuses renaissent et, à l’évocation de Rajaâ, on raconte des histoires contradictoires quant à l’évolution de sa vie privée… A travers ces ragots on découvre les différentes issues auxquelles étaient vouées toute une génération de jeunes filles ayant le même profil psychosociologique qu’elle…
Parallèlement, on découvre que Rajaâ, maintenant aveugle, écrit un roman autobiographique sur la période de sa jeunesse…
Ainsi, à travers les souvenirs des six amis et la reconstitution romanesque de Rajaâ, sont évoqués les événements qui ont marqué leur jeunesse ainsi que les rapports humains qui les unissaient…
Bien que provenant de souches sociales et de régions différentes, les sept amis ont en commun ces quatre années de connivence, d’intrigues amoureuses et de rêves d’absolu sur fond de la mouvance estudiantine fort marquée par la conjoncture socio-politique du Maroc des années 70…
Les conditions ambiantes influent certainement sur la mentalité et le comportement des êtres, et on se rend bien compte que l’état d’esprit de nos protagonistes a bien changé…
Alors, que s’est-il passé ? Et qu’est-il réellement arrivé à Rajaâ ?

Three couple person, in his forties having lost sight for the crazy years of the university, meets itself gathered in the villa of one of them.
Having received a strange invitation, attributed to Rajaâ, their ancien friend reported missing since their last meeting, and although hardly intrigued, two other couples run up at this address which was them in unknown.

Reunion takes place finally and Rajaâ, although absent physically, is very present in the memory of each. Six others trained three households although not always according to the loving affinities of their youth : Kamal who loved Rachida got married to Amal who was in love with Abdelkhalek; Samir, desired by Rachida, but loved Amal, got married to Souad who did not love specially the men !

There was not only Kamal who loved beautiful and sweet Rajaâ ; Abdelkhalek had a big friendship with her that many assimilated to a not declared love. Souad also had a vague and shady affection for Rajaâ. But Rajaâ is untraceable. Nobody managed to find his tracks in.
During the evening, the ancient loving affinities return and, to the evocation of Rajaâ, contradictory stories as for the evolution of its private life were related. These pieces of gossip allow one to discover the various exits to which were dedicated a whole girls generation having the same psychosociologic profile that she in.

At the same time, we discover that Rajaâ, now blind, writes an autobiographical novel over the period of its youth in.
So, through the memories of six friends and the romantic reconstruction of Rajaâ, many events, which marked their youth, the human relationships which united them…, are evoked.

Althrough issuing from different regions and social strata, the seven friends have in common four years of complicity, love and dreams, hardly marked by the sociopolitical situation of the 70’s…

The ambient conditions influence certainly the mentality and the behavior of beings, and we well realize that our protagonists frame of mind changed well by compromising with the current.

Then, what’s happened ? And what did he really arrive at Rajaâ ?
