« stimmhorn » concert de chambre
« stimmhorn » continue à tourner en duo. Les deux performers développent sans cesse leur travail et proposent dans « kammerkonzert » [concert de chambre]un aperçu de leur longue production passée. L’intégration de nouveaux extraits d' »igloo » y donne de nouvelles impulsions et recadre les pièces plus anciennes. Les deux musiciens et leurs univers sonores et vocaux polyphoniques s’approchent ici tout près de leur public.
« Parfaitement sérieux, brillant sur le plan technique, et complètement fou… Il faut simplement l’avoir vécu! Plus proches de l’art que de la musique, ce sont des sculptures vivantes typiques d’un lieu – et bien plus amusantes que Gilbert et George. »

Au début, il y a le cor des Alpes. Puis viennent les premiers harmoniques – sonorités bizarres dans le décor idéal des Alpes. »stimmhorn » laisse de côté et derrière lui tous les genres musicaux. En adoptant différents styles et des éléments de théâtre, il invente avec ses instruments et par le chant des voyages acoustiques entre les univers sonores traditionnel et expérimental. En plus de ses spectacles de théâtre musical, le duo monte régulièrement des productions hybrides, combinant la musique contemporaine, le théâtre, le cinéma et la littérature. Grâce à leur inventivité et à leur goût de l’expérimentation, Zehnder et Streiff ont reçu de nombreuses commandes et distinctions. « stimmhorn » est devenu le symbole des sonorités familières, mais détournées, du monde alpin.
Intitulée « igloo », leur nouvelle production s’enrichit de l’électronique et des rythmes du musicien « kold ».

« stimmhorn » chamber performance
« stimmhorn » is also further on tour as a duo. In their chamber concert, the audiences are witness to the continuing evolution of their work. The integration of new pieces from « igloo » gives new impulses and moves the previous to another place. Here, they come very close to their audience: the two performers with their polyphonic worlds of voice and sound.
« Utterly sincere, technically brillant and completely bonkers… You really have to experience them live! If what they do is closer to art than music, then think of them as site-specific living sculpture – and a lot more fun than Gilbert and George. »

Border crossers in the Helvetic landscape of sound
At the beginning, there is the alpenhorn. Then, there are the first few overtones. Bizarre sounds are generated before images of the sublime world of mountains. « stimmhorn » leave behind all categories and pass beyond all genres: with references to various musical styles and combined with theatrical elements, the duo, using the means of instrument and voice, invents acoustic voyages between traditional and experimental worlds of sound. For their innovative joy in experimentation, Zehnder/Streiff have been given numerous award-winning commissions. « stimmhorn » have become a label for a mixture of foreign and familiar sounds of the land from the Alps.
« igloo » is the name of their latest production, in which the musician « kold », with electronics and beats, expands the duo’s cosmos of sounds even further.
Besides that, « stimmhorn » continue to be on their way as a duo. In their chamber performance, [kammerkonzert]the two musicians share the creative process with their audience.
