Cristo Rey, long métrage de la réalisatrice dominicaine Leticia Tonos, projet bénéficiaire du Programme ACPCultures+, est en sélection officielle au Festival International du Film de Toronto (Canada) qui se tient du 5 au 15 septembre 2013.
La Première mondiale a lieu le 10 septembre au Scotiabank Theatre de Toronto.
Cristo Rey se déroule en République dominicaine et dépeint les relations complexes entre diaspora haïtienne et Dominicains. Deux frères de mères différentes, l’un Dominicain et l’autre Haïtien, doivent apprendre à vivre ensemble dans un quartier populaire de Saint-Domingue : Cristo Rey…

Cristo Rey, the new feature length film by Dominican director Leticia Tonos, beneficiary project of the ACPCultures+ Programme, is selected at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).
The World Premiere will be held on 10 September 2013 at the Scotiabank Theatre in Toronto.
Cristo Rey is set in the Dominican Republic and depicts the complex relations between the Haitian and Dominican diaspora. Two brothers from different mothers, one Dominican and the other Haitian, will have to learn how to live together in Cristo Rey, a rough area of Santo Domingo.
