Après avoir consulté les différents acteurs et parties impliquées dans le projet, l’équipe du festival Gabès Cinéma Fen confirme la transformation de sa deuxième édition en une édition numérique organisée du 03 au 11 avril 2020 sous le slogan « Chouf Online ». Cette décision émane d’une envie de l’équipe d’assurer la continuité du festival et, dans le même temps, d’œuvrer au confinement de la population dans des conditions favorisant leur épanouissement dans les arts et la culture.
Le public de Gabès et d’ailleurs pourra durant 9 jours s’ouvrir au cinéma et à l’art vidéo (Fen). Dans le cinéma, une programmation riche est prévue, offrant une sélection de quarante films, des plus marquants de l’année, répartis sur une section compétitive de longs-métrages fictions et documentaires ainsi qu’une section compétitive de courts-métrages fictions et documentaires, regroupant toutes deux des films du monde arabe, tandis que la rubrique « Hors compétition » fera la part belle aux Cinémas du Monde. Une section spéciale appelée Ciné-Terre et menée en partenariat avec le festival italien Strano Film Festival, présentera une série de courts-métrages ayant pour thème « La terre », ainsi qu’une section de courts-métrages tunisiens.
Dans l’art vidéo, un medium d’expression artistique né dans les années 60 aux USA, Gabès Cinéma Fen ne sera pas en reste. El Kazma, la section Art vidéo du festival, portant le nom d’un bunker (casemate) de la 2e guerre mondiale installée sur la plage de Gabès, présentera douze artistes, six tunisiens et six internationaux. Parmi les vidéos sélectionnées par Paul Ardenne, commissaire de l’exposition, huit sont des premières tunisiennes, dont une internationale. El Kazma se veut un poste d’observation de la création contemporaine du monde, sans thématique prédéfinie, ni orientation particulière.
Gabès Cinéma Fen se déclinera sur l’ensemble du territoire tunisien, gratuitement, via le lien www.gabescinemafen.com sur la plateforme Artify, selon un programme qui sera publié très prochainement.
En ce qui concerne la réalité virtuelle et les diverses activités de Gabès Cinéma Fen, telles que les formations, panels, workshops et performances artistiques, elles seront maintenues et réparties dans les mois suivant la programmation digitale.

The second edition of Gabès Cinéma Fen confirms its digital form starting April 3rd to 11th 2020, under the slogan « Chouf Online ». This decision reflects the team’s desire to ensure the continuity of the festival and, at the same time, to ensure that the state of confinement encourages them to thrive in the Arts and Culture.
The public of Gabès and the whole of Tunisia will have access during 9 days to cinematic and video art films (Fen). When it comes to Cinema, a rich and diverse program is planned, offering a selection of 40 films, some of the most outstanding of Arab and independent cinema. The « Official Competition » section will bring together the best feature- length and short films of the year (fiction and documentaries), while the « Out of Competition » section will focus on Tunisian short films and world cinemas. A special section entitled Ciné-Terre, conducted in partnership with the Italian Strano Film Festival, will present a series of short films dealing with the theme « The Earth ».
Born in the 60s in the USA, Video Art is a medium of artistic expression and Gabès Cinéma Fen will not be outdone when it comes to this form of art. El Kazma, the video art section of the festival, named after a World War II bunker (casemate) installed on the beach of Gabès, will present twelve artists: six Tunisian and six international artists. Among the videos selected by Paul Ardenne, curator of the exhibition, eight are Tunisian premieres, including an international one. El Kazma aims to be an observation post for contemporary creation, with no predefined theme or particular orientation.
Gabès Cinéma Fen will be available throughout Tunisia, free of charge, via the link www.gabescinemafen.com on the Artify platform according to a program that will be published very soon.
Regarding virtual reality and the various activities undertaken by Gabès Cinéma Fen, such as trainings, panels, workshops and artistic performances, they will be maintained and rescheduled in the months following the digital programming.
The team of Gabès Cinéma Fen intends to resume its normal agenda during the third session, underlining its vocation to support the cultural scene of Gabès and the south of Tunisia, and to promote by the same token encounters and exchanges around the visual arts and their issues.

يؤكد فريق ڤابس سينما فن بعد التشاور مع مختلف الفاعلين والمتدخلين في المشروع، تحويل الدورة الثانية للمهرجان إلى تظاهرة رقمية تنتظم من 03 إلى 11 أفريل 2020 تحت شعار « شوف أونلاين ».
وجاء هذا القرار برغبة من الفريق في ضمان استمرارية المهرجان، والعمل في الوقت نفسه على احتواء المواطنين في الظرف الحالي في إطار يحقق نفاذهم إلى الفنون والثقافة.
وسيتابع الجمهور في ڤابس وخارجها على امتداد تسعة أيام برمجة متنوعة تجمع بين السينما وفن الفيديو.
ووضع فريق المهرجان برمجة ثرية تتكون من 40 فيلما في قسم « السينما » تتوزع على مسابقة للأفلام الطويلة (روائية ووثائقية) ومسابقة للأفلام القصيرة مع تخصيص أجزاء خارج المسابقة: جزء للأفلام التونسية القصيرة وجزء للسينماءات العالمية وجزء لسينما الأرض محوره « الأرض ».
وفي فن الفيديو، التعبير الفني الذي ظهر في الولايات المتحدة في ستينات القرن الماضي، فقد برمج المهرجان قسما يحمل اسم الكازما (مخبأ عسكري تم تركيزه على شاطئ ڤابس في الحرب العالمية الثانية) الذي سيقدم 12 عملا فنيا: 6 من تونس و6 من العالم منها 8 أعمال تعرض للمرة الأولى في بلادنا وعملا يعرض للمرة الأولى في العالم.
وأشرف المفوض بول أردان على اختيار أعمال الكازما التي تمثل فضاء للملاحظة والخلق الفني المعاصر دون توجهات وموضوعات محددة سلفا.
