Karabo LEDIGA est scénariste, réalisatrice et productrice pour la télévision et le cinéma.

Elle a écrit et réalisé son court métrage « What Did You Dream? » (2020) qui a été projeté en première en compétition au Festival international du court métrage de Clermont-Ferrand et en compétition au Festival international du court métrage de Palm Springs. Elle a écrit le thriller d’espionnage « Queen Sono » pour la première série africaine originale de Netflix. Elle a également réalisé 2 saisons de l’émission de sketchs comiques « The Bantu Hour » et la comédie de situation « The Mayor ». En 2022, elle travaille sur l’écriture de son premier long métrage intitulé « Sabbatical ».

South African screenwriter, director and producer for television and film

Karabo LEDIGA is a writer, director and producer for television and film.

Her short film, which she wrote and directed titled « What Did You Dream? » (2020) premiered in competition at Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival and was also in competition at The Palm Springs International Short Film Festival. She has written for the first African Netflix Original series, the spy thriller ‘Queen Sono’.
Across 12 seasons of the two-time International Emmy nominated news satire show ‘Late Nite News with Loyiso Gola’ and three seasons of the comedy series ‘Next of Next Week’, she worked as a writer, director, content producer and performer.
Her directorial work also includes 2 seasons of the sketch comedy show ‘The Bantu Hour’ and situational comedy ‘The Mayor’. Her TV writing work also includes South African Film and Television Award winning ‘Lockdown’, ‘MTV Shuga 5′ and the four-part miniseries ‘Emoyeni: Insanguluko’ and most recently as development writer for animated series ‘Queens’ for Wild Sheep.
In 2022, she is in development on her debut feature film titled « Sabbatical ».

Lediga & Andersson’s first collaborative work is Black Sunday. They have extensive plans to change the world with brilliant documentaries. Tamsin cut her teeth on the gratuitous exploitation of human emotion that is reality TV; while Karabo wrote and edited scripts of sometimes dubious, sometimes genius content. Despite their cut-throat industry beginnings, they retain a hope in the power of interesting stories.
