Pieter Hugo

Pieter Hugo est né en 1976. Il vit au Cap en Afrique du Sud. Il est le lauréat, entre autres, du Prix Découverte d’Arles 2008 et du Prix Seydou Keita aux 9e Rencontres d’Arles 2011. Il a publié de nombreux livres dont Looking Aside (2006), Messina/Musina (2007) et The Hyena & Other Men, Nollywood (2007 & 2009 both from Prestel). Son dernier livre s’intitule This Must Be the Place aux éditions Prestel.

Pieter Hugo was born in 1976 and lives in Cape Town. He is the winner of the KLM Paul Huf Award 2008 and the Discovery Award 2008 at the Rencontres d’Arles festival.
