Blaise Bang est né et vit à Douala depuis 1968. Entre figuration et abstraction, Blaise est un spectateur attentif et parfois révolté de la société qui l’entoure. Interrogations, dénonciations?
L’urbain et ses excès, ses beautés et ses laideurs forment sa toile de fond.
Blaise Bang est l’un des membres du cercle Kapsiki.
En tant que membre de ce cercle, il a participé aux « Scénographies Urbaines » (janvier 2003)
Il a exposé (janvier 2003) une oeuvre à Berlin dans le cadre de l’exposition Africa’apart;

An urban labyrinth ? prose!
Compose a work, a production combining images, various objects, materials. Transforming symbolic and provoking confrontations. Material, image, words, historically refer to here, now, now.
Subjectivity emerging dualities sequenced shapes, and things independently put together by assembling, by bonding or overlapping, to evoke a poetic writing translating contextual reading, social and cultural.
Creating spaces for which each narrative painting becomes a poem or a collection of poems, theatrical spaces in which a song becomes a painting, each work is a hymn, a mirror of everyday life transformed, sublimated.
