Azza Chaabouni

Universitaire, responsable d’Atelier de production et monteuse tunisienne.

Azza CHAABOUNI a fait ses études de cinéma à Cinecittà, à Rome ainsi que des études d’Anthropologie Sociale et Culturelle à l’Institut Supérieur des sciences humaines de Tunis. Elle est actuellement enseignante-chercheuse en cinéma et audiovisuel à l’Institut Supérieur des Études Appliquées en Humanités du Kef (Tunisie) et monteuse de films (Hedi de Mohamed Ben Attia, Les frontières du ciel de Fares Naanaa).

Depuis 2014, elle est responsable de l’Atelier Takmil. Initié par la direction des Journées Cinématographiques de Carthage en 2014, Takmil est le prolongement de l’Atelier de projets crée en 1992. Atelier de projets qui a servi, pendant 10 sessions consécutives, de soutien à de nombreux talents africains et arabes pour l’écriture de leurs scénarios.

Tunisian Film Lecturer-researcher, Film Editor and Head of Project (Takmil)

Azza CHAABOUNI studied cinema at Cinecittà in Rome and Social & Cultural Anthropology at the Higher Institute of Human Sciences in Tunis. She is currently a Lecturer-Researcher in cinema and audiovisual at the Higher Institute of Applied Studies in Humanities of Kef (Tunisia) and film editor ( Hedi dir. by Mohamed Ben Attia, The boundaries of the sky dir. by Fares Naanaa).

Since 2014, she is Head of Project of The Atelier Takmil (Carthage Film Festival). Initiated by the direction of the Carthage Film Festival in 2014, Takmil is an extension of the Project Workshop created in 1992. A project workshop that served, for 10 consecutive sessions, to support many African and Arab talents for the writing their scripts.
