Laëtitia Eïdo is a French actress of Lebanese descent, whose international career includes roles in the US with the HBO action series « Strike Back », alongside Sullivan Stapleton and Philip Winchester (2012 – English); in France, with the ARTE channel docu-fiction « The Destiny of Rome », in which she played Cleopatra (2011 – Greek and Latin) and the successful comic TV series « Hero Corp » where she was an Indian superhero (2010 – French); in Algeria, as the leading role of the historical long feature « Lalla N’Soumer » (2013 – Berberian); and now Israel, in « Dancing Arabs » by Eran Riklis, alongside Yaël Abecassis and Ali Suliman (2013 – Arabic and Hebrew).
Laëtitia was first trained in classical acting techniques in Paris theatre schools; then with Peter Brook, Jacques Lecoq and Philippe Genty companies; and in the Meisner technique in New York. She got graduated at La Sorbonne-Nouvelle in « Scenography and New theatrical forms and writing » (Master 2) and published her thesis in the « Registres » theatre magazine. Due to her Architecture studies background, she also worked several years as a set designer on theatre projects and movie sets.
She started on stage, with various projects including the Greek tragedy « Andromaque » (Racine), the French classic comedy « The Dispute » (Marivaux), the Operetta « Phi Phi », and singing theatre with « Merci l’Ours ».
Her multicultural ethnic look has enabled her to work in 7 languages, with more projects in Lebanon, Spain and the States on the horizon.
