Culturally disorganized Amirah Tajdin confesses to having
an unhealthy love for anything remotely related to art, film, music or photography. Fuelled by a passion for being creative, Amirah’s artistic endeavors range from short films to dj-ing and wall murals to sculptures. She graduated from Rhodes University with a Bachelor of Fine Art (Photography) in South Africa. Amirah was born and brought up in Nairobi, spent her teenage years in Dubai and considers her ongoing romance with crazy cities and her mixed lineage as influences for most of her films, photography and drawings, as well as her choice to consider everywhere and nowhere home.

La 26enne regista Amirah Tajdin è nata e cresciuta a Nairobi, ma ha passato parte della sua adolescenza a Dubai. Si definisce un’artista disorganizzata e si distingue in diversi campi artistici tra cui: la fotografia, il disegno, la scultura e la pittura murale. Inoltre è attiva nel panorama musicale come dj. Dopo aver esplorato il mondo del cinema attraverso il corto Fluorescent Sin, ha deciso di cimentarsi con un lungometraggio in fase di lavorazione.
