Lemohang Jeremiah MOSESE est un réalisateur, scénariste, monteur et Directeur de la Photo. Cinéaste autodidacte, il est né le 17.01.1980, à Leribe (au Lesotho). Il vit et travaille à Berlin (Allemagne). Il est connu pour FOR THOSE WHOSE GOD IS DEAD (2013), Mother, I Am Suffocating. This Is My Last Film About You (2019) et This Is Not A Burial, It’s A Resurrection (2020).

En 2011, Mosese participe au Berlinale Talent Campus.
Il réalise FOR THOSE WHOSE GOD IS DEAD son premier long en 2013. Deux de ses courts métrages, Mosonngoa (2014) et Behemoth – or the Game of God (2015), ont été projetés dans plusieurs festivals internationaux, dont Clermont-Ferrand, Raindance, Kinodot, Festival del Cinema Africano, d’Asia e America Latina (Milan, Italie), Louxor (Egypte) et qu’au Festival de Durban et L’Étrange Festival.
Mother, I Am Suffocating. This Is My Last Film About You (2019) est son second long métrage. Son troisième long métrage est This Is Not A Burial, It’s A Resurrection (2019). En postpoduction, ce film a remporté six prix à l’atelier Final Cut (festival de Venise) pour sa Première Mondiale au Festival de Berlin 2019. Il a remporté deux prix au Festival du Cinéma africain de Louxor (LAFF 2020, Egypte).
Le réalisateur du Lesotho était un des trois cinéastes sélectionnés pour le Biennale College-Cinema lab 2018-2019 (Festival de Berlin 2019), avec son second long métrage est This Is Not A Burial, It’s A Resurrection (2019).
Mosese a participé à plusieurs programmes dont le Focus Features’ Africa First (Afrique du Sud / USA) et L’Atelier de la Cinéfondation (Festival de Cannes, France).
Mosese a été juré à la Berlinale 2020 (jury Courts métrages) et aussi à Locarno 2020 (Jury International de la section « The Films After Tomorrow »).

Né en 1980 au Lesotho, Lemohang Jeremiah Mosese est un réalisateur et artiste visuel basé à Berlin. Autodidacte, il réalise plusieurs courts-métrages et un premier long en 2013, FOR THOSE WHOSE GOD IS DEAD.
Son documentaire MOTHER, I AM SUFFOCATING. THIS IS MY LAST FILM ABOUT YOU (2019) a été sélectionné au prestigieux Final Cut à la Mostra de Venise en 2018 où il a reçu six prix, avant d’être présenté au Forum à la Berlinale l’année suivante.
Mosese est élève de la Berlinale Talents Berlinale Talents (2011), Focus Features Africa First (2012), Realness African Screenwriting Residency (2017) et de L’Atelier Cinéfondation (2019).
En 2018, il compte parmi les trois réalisateurs sélectionnés au Biennale College Cinema. L’INDOMPTABLE FEU DU PRINTEMPS, inspiré de l’histoire de sa grand-mère, est son troisième long-métrage.
