Cathy Renoir

Chanteuse et auteur-compositeur française (Guadeloupéenne / Alsacienne).

Elle a chanté « Sama yoon » (en wolof), pour le long métrage « Les Caprices d’un fleuve (Unpredictable Nature of the River) » réalisé par Bernard Giraudeau, 1996, avec en rôles principaux Bernard Giraudeau, Richard Bohringer, Thierry Frémont, France Zobda, Roland Blanche.

Née d’un père guadeloupéen et d’une mère alsacienne, Cathy Renoir est une artiste de rencontre. Ray Lema, Sting, Johnny Clegg, Manu Dibango, Alpha Blondy, Ismaël lô… la liste de ses participations en tant que choriste est impressionnante.
Avec la complicité de la pianiste Célia Reggiani, fille du célèbre Serge Reggiani, elle se lance dans un nouvel album de chansons métissées : « Mulâtresse Solitude » (2018), une synthèse de sa maturité artistique.
