Fan SISSOKO est un artiste et cinéaste franco-malien basé à Reykjavik (Islande), avec une formation en design pour le changement social. Son travail explore les thèmes de la migration, de l’appartenance, de la maternité et de l’altérité. Des commandes notables incluent des travaux pour le Migration Museum, le Museum of London, la Science Gallery Dublin et le National Trust. Son court métrage d’animation « En Surface » / « On the Surface » (2021) a reçu une bourse d’Art With Impact et a été projeté dans des festivals du monde entier, notamment Encounters (Royaume-Uni), Ottawa International Animation Festival (CA), Margate Film Festival (Royaume-Uni), Festival d’animation Rex (SUE). Il a remporté le Heartwired Award au Our Heritage, Our Planet Film Festival (États-Unis) et une Mention Spécial au Festival du court métrage de Clermont-Ferrand 2022 (France). « We The People » (2019), un documentaire qu’elle a co-réalisé, a remporté les Prix Film Futures dans le cadre du Little Wing Film Festival 2020.
