Ian’s career started in the U.S. Army as a combat photographer, where he learned to use the camera under high stress conditions. He has lived abroad in Europe and spent time at the United Nations, NATO and the European Union.
His film projects have been to Cannes, SXSW, Milan, Palm Springs and Seattle International film festivals. Ian has created content for Walt Disney and Warner Brothers, and he has produced live large-scale events.
Ian has an MAIR from ACM/Institut Américain Universitaire (France) with an emphasis in diplomacy and humans rights, an MBA from Penn State University and a BA in theatre from the University of Minnesota. He is a member of the Asian American Committee at the Directors Guild of America (DGA).
