Né en 1973 et originaire de Sidi-Bel-Abbès, ville de l’ouest algérien, Mohamed Latrèche est venu poursuivre ses études en France en 1992 (Sciences Politiques à Saint-Denis).
« A la recherche de l’Emir Abd El-Kader » (2004) est son premier film documentaire, réalisé après son court-métrage de fiction « Rumeur, etc » (2003).
Mohamed Latrèche est également producteur et distributeur au sein de SORA, société qu’il a créée en 2003 à Alger.
Il partage sa vie entre la France et l’Algérie.

Born in Algeria, he moved to France in 1992 to study Political Science. « A la recherche de l’Emir Abd El-Kader » (In Search of Emir Abd El-Kader) (2004) is his first documentary film, made after the short fiction film « Rumeur, etc » (2003).
Producer and distributor of SORA, an organisation he founded in 2003 in Algeria. He lives between France and Algeria.
