Annalisa Butticci is currently a Marie Curie Fellow at Harvard Divinity School, USA and INTEGON, Utrecht University, the Netherlands. Her research interests include Religion and Spirituality, African Christianity, African Diasporas, and Visual and Material Culture. She was the curator of several multimedia exhibitions including « They Won’t Budge: Africans in Europe » presented at the Shomburg Center and Mocada, New York, and Biagiotti Gallery, Florence; « Black Motion: Identity, Body and Emotions », Sale Gallery, Venice: « Na God: Aesthetics of African Charismatic Power », Padova, Italy. With Andrew Esiebo she produced a film entitled « Enlarging the Kingdom: African Pentecostals in Italy ».
