Kongo Bizizi Academy (Institut Panafricain du Cinéma) est un Institut panafricain du cinéma fondé le 02 mai 2018 par Ne Kunda Nlaba, Producteur, Réalisateur, Scénariste, Acteur, Professeur de cinéma et Politologue; Master en Film et Télévsion. Kongo Bizizi Academy a été fondé dans le but de résoudre le problème du manque d'écoles de cinéma en Afrique centrale.

Kongo Bizizi Academy (Institut Panafricain du Cinéma) opère ses activités en Angola et en R.D.Congo.



Historique



L'idée de Kongo Bizizi Academy a commencé depuis 2007 sous forme du centre de recherche et d'invention cinématographique de la société de production cinématographique Labson Bizizi-Cine Kongo, dédiée aux recherches et aux inventions dans l'industrie cinématographique, et est devenue institut du cinéma en 2018 afin de non seulement effectuer des recherches, mais aussi publier et transférer les connaissances de l'industrie aux populations africaines et de sa diaspora et les former.



Le terme Bizizi signifie art cinématographique ou cinéma ou encore image en mouvement en Kikongo, l'une des anciennes langues d'Afrique parlée au Royaume de Kongo et aujourd'hui parlée dans de nombreux pays comme en Angola, en République du Congo, en République démocratique du Congo, au Gabon et autres.



Nos objectifs



En tant que centre de formation professionnelle, Kongo Bizizi Academy (The Pan African Film Institute) fournit des formations, des ateliers, des master classes et des cours de courte durée dans le secteur du cinéma en Afrique centrale et à travers le continent africain.

Notre plan à long terme est de devenir un institut supérieur de cinéma et de proposer des cours de cinéma au niveau universitaire  au cœur de l'Afrique.



Nos cours



Nos cours sont à la fois théoriques et pratiques offrant aux étudiants la possibilité de produire des films pendant et à la fin de leurs études en tant que projets finaux et de développer leurs compétences en tant que producteurs de films, réalisateurs, scénaristes, directeurs de la photographie, monteurs et tant d'autres dans le secteur du cinéma et de la télévision.



Nos cours sont dispensés par des cinéastes professionnels de l'industrie, des universitaires et des académiciens au même niveau qu'au Royaume-Uni et aux États-Unis utilisant les nouvelles technologies.



Depuis 2018, nous avons formé plus de 27 étudiants qui sont actuellement dans plusieurs productions.

Kongo Bizizi Academy (The Pan African Film Institute) is the Pan-African Institute of filmmaking founded on 02 May 2018 by Ne Kunda Nlaba, an Award-winning African Film Producer, Director, Screenwriter, Actor, Film Professor and Political Scientist; a Master of Arts in Film, Television and Screen Media. Kongo Bizizi Academy was founded to resolve the issue of the lack of formal film schools in Central Africa.

We operates in Angola and in D.R.Congo.



History



Kongo Bizizi Academy’s idea started since 2007 in the form of the film invention and research centre of the film production company Labson Bizizi-Cine Kongo, dedicated to researches and inventions in the moving image art industry, and became the film academy in 2018 to not only research but also publish and transfer the industry knowledge to the people in Africa and the Diaspora and train them.



The term Bizizi means film or moving image in Kikongo one of the old languages in Africa that was spoken in the Kingdom of Kongo and nowadays spoken in many countries such as in Angola, in the Republic of Congo, the Democratic Republic of Congo, in Gabon and many more.

Our aims As a professional training center, Kongo Bizizi Academy (The Pan African Film Institute) aims to provide training, workshops, master classes, and short courses in the filmmaking sector in Central Africa and across the African continent.

Our long term plan is to move as a further and higher education film institute and provide film courses from college to university degree level in the heart of Africa.



Our courses



Our course is both theoretical and practical offering the opportunity to students to produce films while studying and at the end of their studies as final projects and develop their skills as Film Producers, Directors, Screenwriters, Cinematographers, Editors and many more for film and television sector.



Our courses are taught by award-winning industry professional filmmakers, film scholars, and academicians at the same level as in the United Kingdom and the United States using new technologies.



Since 2018, we trained around 27 students who are currently working in diverse productions.
