Le crime oublié est une chronique du soulèvement des jeunes révolutionnaires égyptiens du 25 janvier 2011 contre le régime militaire oppressif. Ces événements se passent entre Octobre et Novembre 2011. Le film relate l’histoire de deux symboles de la révolution égyptienne, de deux amis inséparables qui sont tous les deux de religions différentes, Mohamed El Masri est un musulman et Ahmad Issam est un copte. Leur amitié se brise par une cruelle séparation entre ces deux jeunes égyptiens sous le fardeau des armes interdites du régime militaire utilisées contre les civils.

– هي سيرة ذاتية لجريمة حرب منسية تعود إلى شهري أكتوبر ونوفمبر 2011 أبطالها شباب ثورة خمسة وعشرين يناير الذين نهضوا ضد حكم العسكر. في خضم هذه الأحداث العنيفة نعيش قصة رمزين من شباب الثورة المصرية، صديقين لا يفترقان من ديانتين مختلفتين، محمد المصري المسلم واحمد عصام القبطي. تنتهي هذه الصداقة الأسطورية بفراق مأساوي تحت آلة القمع العسكرية الموجهة ضد المدنيين.
