Félix Manuaku Waku

Félix Manuaku Waku, alias Pépé Felly, guitariste et chanteur congolais, ancien étudiant de L’Académie des Beaux-Arts de Kinshasa. Cofondateur en 1969 avec, entre autres Papa Wemba et N’yoka Longo du groupe Zaïko Langa Langa, il a créé ensuite son propre groupe, Le Grand Zaiko Wawa.

Félix Manuaku Waku, also known as Pépé Fely (or Felly) is a soukous guitarist from the Democratic Republic of Congo. He has been described as the foremost Congolese solo guitarist of his generation, and is credited with establishing the guitar as the lead instrument in contemporary Congolese music.
