Olga Nakkas est née à Mersin, Turquie d’une mère turque et d’un père libanais. Nakkas a grandi à Beyrouth où sa famile s’est installée en 1958. Après avoir travaillé en France et en Italie, elle est revenue s’installer au Liban, à la fin de la guerre civile.

Olga Nakkas was born in Mersin, Turkey to a Turkish mother and Lebanese father. Nakkas was raised in Beirut, where the family relocated in 1958. After studying Arabic literature and journalism in Paris, Nakkas worked as an assistant director and producer for the BBC in London, the French television station Canal Plus, and in Lebanon. She has also coproduced her own films through her company Les Films de L’Odyssée. She has also been an executive producer at Article Z, a documentary film company based in Paris. Nakkas has lived in Paris and Rome but returned to Beirut after the end of the civil war. (07/12)
