Waati Sera (‘Il est temps !’ ), est le 3eme album autoproduit par Amkoullel et son label Woklo Barka Prod en 2007. C’est un album militant contre l’image dévalorisante qu’ont les Africains d’eux-mêmes. Il impose Amkoullel sur le marché avec trois trophées au Mali hip hop Awards 2009 : Meilleur single de l’année – Meilleur clip – Meilleur featuring .
Le titre Farafina sortira sur les compilations OIF et Afrolution et sa vidéo sera beaucoup diffusée en télévision.
Le « son » Amkoullel s’est défini : des collages musicaux composés d’instruments africains traditionnels, de jazz et de rock. Il suscite l’attention des plus avertis.
