Media artists are invited to take part in this unique cultural encounter in Alexandria, Egypt, from the 22nd of October to the 07th of November
The workshop will take place at the Goethe Institute in Alexandria who is supporting the workshop and its main sponsor, in conjunction with the Atelier of Alexandria and Canon.
The workshop will culminate in a three day, indoor and outdoor, shows of works produced during the workshop.
Timetable:
Days1-3 (22nd of October – 24th of October):
Introductions and brief talks by participating artists.
Outdoor activities/visits to local attractions and landmarks. A chance to mix with the local community.
Days 5-14 (25th of October – 4th of November):
Working in the Gallery at the Goethe Institute. There will be informal visits by some artists, critics and from media editor.
The Gallery space has good amenities. Internet connection will be available on site.
Days 15 – 17 (5th of November – 07th of November):
Indoor and Outdoor shows of works created during the workshop.
