Du 27 mars au 9 avril 2009 les Services culturels de l’Ambassade de France au Ghana ont mis en place, avec le soutien de l’agence CulutresFrance, un atelier de photo qui accueillera près de 20 photographes émergents et confirmés venus de toute l’Afrique : 5 participants du Ghana, mais aussi du Tchad, au Botswana en passant par le Mali ou le Gabon.

Cet atelier d’envergure sera animé par deux photographes de talents, le Ghanéen Francis Nii Obodai Provençal et le Franco-algérien Bruno Boudjelal.

Véritable tremplin pour la Biennale de Bamako, cet atelier verra les meilleures productions de l’atelier exposées aux Rencontres Internationales de la Photographie, en novembre 2009, l’une des meilleures vitrines du Continent.

Une exposition légère des travaux accomplis pendant l’atelier sera présentée à l’Alliance française d’Accra le 9 avril à 16h.

From the 27th of March to the 9th of April, The Cultural Affairs of the French Embassy in Ghana are organising an ambitious workshop welcoming about 20 photographers from the whole continent: 5 from Ghana, and participants coming from Chad to Botswana, from Mali to Gabon.



The workshop will be directed by two talented photographers: Ghanaian Francis Nii Obodai Provençal and Franco-Algerian Bruno Boudjelal.



Litterally, the workshop will be a Visa for the International Photography Encounters of Bamako, in November 2009, where the most achieved works will be exhibited, providing a marvellous visibility for the rising or more experienced photographers of the Continent.



In the meantime, on the 9th of April, a light exhibition of the images produced during the workshop will be opened at the Alliance Française in Accra.
