L'objectif du Festival d'Addis-Abeba, comme on l'appelle dans la ville, est de sensibiliser le public aux questions internationales, d'informer, d'éduquer et de remettre en question ce que nous voyons. Il vise également à faciliter les esprits créatifs et contemplatifs et à rassembler les cinéastes et les cinéphiles dans une communauté où ils peuvent discuter de leurs intérêts.

Comme d'habitude, le festival de cette année proposera un éventail extrêmement diversifié de documentaires captivants, d'ateliers et de panels instructifs, et d'autres événements spéciaux. J'encourage tout le monde à essayer de vous pousser avec des sujets et des idées qui peuvent ne pas vous être familiers ou inhabituels. Donc, si vous avez du temps libre ou si vous avez besoin d'une pause dans la charge de travail de fin de journée, venez découvrir l'art des films documentaires. Tentez votre chance et voyez quelque chose de nouveau. Vous serez peut-être surpris de tout ce qu'il y a à apprendre, et du nombre d'endroits à voir, et de nouvelles personnes à rencontrer.

OBJECTIVES



Objective 1: To create awareness and provide information on current human rights and global dilemmas issues that is playing critical roles in shaping the world.

Objective 2: Encourage more people to become involved in the human rights discourse as a result of film, art, and a better understanding of art as a form of resistance.

Objective 3: Involve more youth who are expected to absorb new information about the importance of human rights as inherent rights through the festival.

Objective 4: To attract new audiences for the human rights platform through music and theater performances, and eventually involve them in core related human rights screenings.

Objective 5: Providing the platform for artists, human rights activists, and filmmakers to network and gain visibility.
