LAND OF MILK AND HONEY depicts a day in the life of Trish Tapoka, who lives in the Central Methodist Church in downtown Johannesburg. Like many of her co-inhabitants Trish is a refugee fleeing the economic crisis in Zimbabwe. She lives her life at the mercy of the larger forces in the area, and tries to survive to the best of her ability in a tough environment.
