True Gods have bones
Guinea Bissau is one of the poorest countries in the world. Children with severe health problems have to be evacuated to Europe as their only chance for survival. But Guineans look to the future with a smile.
Life in Guinea Bissau is not easy because it is one of the poorest countries in the world. Children with severe health problems have to be evacuated to Europe as their only chance for survival. The day to day of five different people reveal the complications of carrying out these evacuations, such as the day when the President and Chief of Staff are murdered and the country is paralyzed, But our protagonists teach us that in Africa easy things are difficult and the impossible becomes simple to achieve.

La vida en Guinea Bissau no es sencilla por ser uno de los países más pobres del mundo. Los niños con graves problemas de salud tienen que ser evacuados a Europa para salvar sus vidas. Cinco personas muy diferentes nos descubren las dificultades para llevar esto a cabo, como el día que el asesinato del Presidente del Gobierno paraliza el país. Pero nuestros protagonistas nos enseñan que en África lo fácil es difícil y lo imposible se vuelve sencillo.

Autor de los guiones de largometraje « Fuera de Juego » y « Meigallo. Una historia del más allá ». Analista de guiones para FAPAE con Media Network. Profesor de guión. Poeta. Director y autor teatral. Acaba de fundar la productora Oceánica Visual. Sus trabajos son: « Los dioses de verdad tienen huesos » (largometraje documental), « Hormigas » (cortometraje documental), « Egoísta », « Desenfocados », « Contra las cuerdas » y « 23 fotogramas » (cortometrajes de ficción)
BELÉN SANTOS. Licenciada en Comunicación Audiovisual en la Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Completó su formación con estudios impartidos por Jaime Chávarri, Pilar Miró, Antonio Drove y Senel Paz entre otros. Productora en la Agencia Efe TV durante diez años. Guionista y realizadora free lance. En 2000 formó su propia productora. Autora de los guiones de largometraje « Ad Líbitum », « Mientras pueda », « Lugares de paso ». Sus trabajos son: « Los dioses de verdad tienen huesos » (largometraje documental), « Hormigas », « Women » y « Comercio Justo » (cortometrajes documental) y « Sinfonía Desconcertante », « Otro Tiempo » y « Una Acacia en la M-30 » (cortometrajes ficción)
DAVID ALFARO. Degree in Journalism at Madrid Complutense University and in Direction and Screenplay for Cinema and Television at Madrid Instituto del Cine. Director of videoclips. He wrote the feature film screenplays « Fuera de Juego » and « Meigallo. Una historia del más allá ». He was a script analyst for FAPAE with Media Network. Professor in scriptwriting. Poet. Author and theater director. He just founded the production company Oceánica Visual. His works are « True Gods Have Bones » (documentary feature film), « Ants » (documentary short film), « Selfish », « Unfocused », « On the ropes » & « 23 frames » (fiction short films)
BELÉN SANTOS. Degree in Communication at Madrid Complutense University. She completed her training with courses taught by Jaime Chávarri, Pilar Miró, Antonio Drove & Senel Paz among others. She worked as a producer for Efe TV for ten years. Later she works as a free lance screenwriter and director. In 2000 she created her own production company. She wrote the feature film screenplays « Ad Lib », « While I Can » & « Places By The Way ». Her works are « True Gods Have Bones » (documentary feature film), « Ants », « Women » & « Fair Trade » (documentary short films), « Disconcerting Symphony », « Another Time » & « An Acacia at the M-30 » (fiction short films)
