Three tribes, three stories, a mega-slums: Kibera. Kamau, an artist, Otieno, a fraud, and their common interest and love for Alice, the daughter of a preacher. All three live in the largest slum in East Africa. All three are of different tribes, but they are looking for tribal unity. The film follows these three characters in their quest for change within the community in which they live, their fights, challenges and victories.

Tre tribù, tre storie, una enorme baraccopoli: Kiberia. Kamau, un artista, Otieno, un imbroglione, e il loro interesse comune, l’amore per Alice, la figlia di un predicatore. Tutti e tre vivono nella più grande baraccopoli dell’Africa orientale. Tutti e tre sono di tribù diverse, ma sono alla ricerca di unità tribale. Il film segue questi tre personaggi nella loro ricerca di cambiamento dentro la comunità in cui vivono, le loro lotte, sfide e le vittorie.
