Centré sur le problème des enfants vivant de plus en plus dans la misère – notamment à cause du sida – le film suit le rude parcours de deux enfants dans un monde de responsabilité adulte. Itayi et Tamari sont dévastés par la mort de leurs deux parents, rejetés par leur famille et leurs amis, et laissés sans rien. Frustré et désespéré, Itayi tente sa chance dans la grande ville, laissant Tamari à la maison pour s’occuper d’elle-même et de ses jeunes frères et sœurs.

Everyone’s Child
Focusing on the growing problem of children living in hardship – especially as a result of AIDS – the film follows the abrupt journey of two children into a world of adult responsibility. Itayi and Tamari are devastated following the death of both parents, shunned by family and friends, and left with nothing. Frustrated and in despair, Itayi tries his luck in the big city, leaving Tamari at home to look after herself and her younger brothers and sisters.
