Bernadette est la benjamine de la famille d’un ancien combattant burkinabè à Madagascar. En 1966, alors qu’elle n’avait que 7ans, une maladie entraîne le rapatriement de son père et son frère au Burkina Faso. Elle retrouve leur trace par chance et décide de la suivre… A travers elle, c’est la Grande Histoire des déplacements de populations dans une Afrique sous domination coloniale qui remonte à la surface.

By chance she finds their footsteps and decides to follow them… Through Bernadette, it is the Great Story of people displacement in an Africa under colonial domination.
