Il était une fois…une île, peuplée par des marins pêcheurs, qui exploitent un système de pêcheries fixes ; appelées « charfyas ». Ils vivaient heureux, et organisent des fêtes après une bonne pêche ; jusqu’au jour où, des inconnus saccagent ces « charfyas », et terrorisent les propriétaires. Pour contrer ce fléau, les habitants organisent des tours de garde pour sauver leur bien.
Sami, un jeune garçon de 15ans, se charge pendant ses vacances scolaires, de garder la « charfya » patrimoine de sa famille. Pendant, son tour de garde, allongé sous l’ombre d’un vieil olivier millénaire…il devient l’objet d’événements bizarres.

Once upon a time…there was an island, inhabited by fishermen, who operated a system of fixed fisheries; called « charfyas ». They lived happily, and organised parties after a good catch, until the day when strangers ransacked these « charfyas » and terrorised the owners. To counter this scourge, the inhabitants organise watchtowers to save their property.
Sami, a young boy of 15 years old, takes care during his school holidays of keeping the « charfya » heritage of his family. During this time, his watchtower, lying in the shade of an old olive tree, a thousand years old…he becomes the object of strange events.

كان ياما كان … جزيرة يسكنها صيادون يستغلون نظامًا لمصايد الأسماك الثابتة ؛ تسمى « الشرفية ». كانوا يعيشون في سعادة دائمة، وينظمون الحفلات بعد الصيد الجيد ؛ حتى ذات يوم، يقوم أشخاص مجهولون بنهب هذه « الشرفيات » وإرهاب أصحابها. لمواجهة هذه الآفة، ينظم السكان دورات مراقبة لحفظ ممتلكاتهم. سامي، صبي يبلغ من العمر 15 عامًا، يعتني بتراث عائلته « الشرفية » خلال عطلاته المدرسية. أثناء دور مراقبته، جالسا تحت ظلال شجرة زيتون قديمة ألفية يصبح هدفًا لأحداث غريبة
