1952 : la Tunisie avant l'indépendance. La lutte armée s'organise sous la conduite d'un leader politique. Des réunions clandestines permettent de se cacher des forces colonialistes. Dans les quartiers de la Medina de Tunis, un vieux porteur d'eau y participe activement en aidant ses compatriotes avec ses moyens.

Le guerbagi (1984, with animated puppets), concerned a water vendor killed by the police during Tunisia"s struggle for independence in the 1950s.

1952: Tunisia before independance. The armed struggle is organized by a political leader. Secret meetings allow them to avoid colonialist police. In the popular district of the Tunis Medinah, an old water carrier actively takes part in the stuggle, with the means at his disposal.
