En 2014, la communauté agraire endormie de Chibok (État de Borno, nord-est du Nigeria) a été propulsée sous les feux de la rampe lorsque le redoutable groupe terroriste Boko Haram, qui s'oppose à l'éducation des femmes, a pris d'assaut la ville la nuit et a enlevé 276 adolescentes dans leurs dortoirs. Le monde entier a été choqué et horrifié lorsque des vidéos de ces jeunes filles, entourées de terroristes armés de mitraillettes, ont fait surface sur Internet et sur les chaînes satellites du monde entier. La RV traite des conséquences de ces enlèvements et explore les questions d'actualité mondiale des droits des femmes et du droit à l'éducation.

In 2014 the sleepy agrarian community of Chibok (Borno State, North East Nigeria) was thrust into the global spotlight when the dreaded, anti-women education, terrorist group Boko Haram stormed the town at night and abducted 276 teenage schoolgirls from their dormitories. The world watched in shock and horror as videos of the girls, surrounded by machine gun- wielding terrorists, surfaced all over the internet and satellite channels across the globe. The VR deals with the aftermath of the kidnappings, and explores topical global issues of gender rights and the right to education.
