Zee est une star de musique électronique oubliée qui abandonne le confort des banlieues chics pour s’aventurer dans la jungle bétonnée du centre-ville de Hillbrow, à la recherche d’un père qui s’efface dans la brume de ses souvenirs d’enfance. Elle entre dans le vieil hôtel-boutique illuminé par la lueur du néon rouge de l’emblématique tour Hillbrow Ponte, mais la relation qu’elle aurait souhaité avoir avec son père, un jazzman légendaire et disparu depuis longtemps, reste illusoire. Elle se laisse finalement aller pour embrasser le mystère des ténèbres.

Zee is a faded Gqom popstar who leaves behind the comfort of the suburbs and ventures into the concrete jungle of downtown Hillbrow in search of a father who is disappearing into the haze of childhood memories. She braves the old boutique hotel illuminated by the red neon glow of the iconic Hillbrow Ponte tower, but the connection she longs for with her long-lost legendary jazz musician father remains elusive. She finally lets go and learns to embrace the mystery of the darkness.
