Dans un autre ordre d’idées, les gens du Sud considèrent le Nord comme une terre d’opportunités. Lorsque le gouvernement au pouvoir du Nord déclare qu’un nouveau mur doit être construit pour lutter contre l’augmentation de l’immigration clandestine, les chances d’un nouveau départ sont de plus en plus minces. Ezekiel vit dans le Sud dans un foyer brisé avec sa mère et son beau-père abusif. Il travaille dans des circonstances humiliantes comme domestique avec sa petite amie Myra. Après avoir appris que le mur frontalier vers le Nord est presque terminé, il est forcé de prendre une décision douloureuse avec Myra pour quitter sa famille et sa vie derrière lui afin de traverser vers une nouvelle terre d’opportunité.

In an alternate timeline people from The South look towards The North as a land of opportunities. When the ruling government of The North declares that a new wall be built to combat the rise of illegal immigration, the chance at a fresh start has become increasingly slim. Ezekiel lives in the South in a broken home with his mother and abusive stepfather. He works under demeaning circumstances as a servant with his girlfriend Myra. After learning that the border wall to The North is near completion, he is forced to make a painful decision with Myra to leave his family and life behind to cross into a new land of opportunity.
