Salem (surnommé « Zatat »), un passeur connu par son intégrité, réunit ses trois filles pour leur annoncer qu’il a été sollicité par les commerçants de son village pour escorter une caravane. La mort dans l’âme, le vieil homme confie la responsabilité de la maison à la cadette, Aouïcha, dotée d’une vive intelligence et excellente oratrice, elle est également chargée de veiller sur ses sœurs.
Les semaines passent, les ressources se font rares et leur père n’est toujours pas revenu. Un matin, Rahhal, un compagnon de Salem, leur apprend que leur convoi a été attaqué par des mercenaires et la seule trace qui restait de leur père était ses affaires.
Le souverain Moulay Abid convoite Aouisha, la plus jeune des filles ; elle aura pour seules armes son intelligence et sa perspicacité. Commence alors une série d’aventures pour les trois sœurs…

Salem (nicknamed « Zatat »), a smuggler known for his integrity, gathers his three daughters to announce to them that he has been asked by the merchants of his village to escort a caravan. With a heavy heart, the old man entrusts the responsibility of the house to the youngest, Aouïcha, endowed with a keen intelligence and an excellent speaker, she is also responsible for watching over her sisters.
