Après une enfance profondément déstabilisée par des parents qui n’ont pas su la protéger, Sherifa, la quinzaine à peine, va s’enfuir à la veille d’un mariage forcé. Ainsi commence l’aventure épineuse de celle qui sera violée et maltraitée par ceux qui pouvaient lui donner une chance de survie. Dans sa quête de liberté et d’horizons meilleurs la jeune adolescente va se heurter à une cruauté qui, ensuite, va la précipiter dans l’univers obscur de la prostitution. Et quand la blessure secrète de l’excision se révèle, rien ne sera plus jamais comme avant.
