Nyarai Chumusasa, bien qu'ayant réussi dans la vie professionnelle, veut absolument devenir basketteuse en opposition à sa famille qui ne pense qu'à bien la marier.

Femme d'affaire accomplie, Nyarai fait face à des choix importants lorsque ses parents insistent pour qu'elle se marie afin de montrer l'exemple à sa jeune sœur. Alors que Nyarai se demande si l'homme parfait existe vraiment, elle sent que le temps presse lorsqu'elle apprend que sa cousine Nonto vient de s'engager. Prise à la croisée de deux chemins, Nyarai doit décider dans quelle direction elle veut mener sa vie.
