Melissa, une jeune femme d'une vingtaine d'années, a grandi avec sa mère Bernadette, une femme autoritaire et aigrie, qui lui a toujours présenté son père, Simo Samen, comme un homme irresponsable, parti pour refaire sa vie avec une plus jeune. Élevée dans ce rejet de la figure paternelle, Melissa a pourtant dû affronter un enfer bien plus proche : les agressions sexuelles répétées de Jules, le compagnon de sa mère, alors qu'elle n'était qu'une adolescente.

Melissa, a young woman in her twenties, grew up with her mother Bernadette, an authoritarian and bitter woman, who always presented her father, Simo Samen, as an irresponsible man, left to rebuild her life with a younger one. Raised in this rejection of the paternal figure, Melissa nevertheless had to face a much closer hell: the repeated sexual assaults of Jules, her mother's partner, while she was only a teenager.
