Stratches is a film of still images (photos) and sounds that explores the gradual erosion of freedom of the press. Through sound archives, silences, and grainy black and white images, it depicts the disappearance of human voices under censorship, self- censorship, and surveillance.
The film shifts to a future where only humanoid robots and AI produce perfect but dehumanized information. Between memory and anticipation, Stratches asks: what is left to write when all human speech is erased?

فيلم عبارة عن توليف لصور فوتوغرافية وأصوات، يستكشف المحو التدريجي لحرية الصحافة. يمزج الفيلم بين أرشيفات صوتية، وصمت، وصور بالأبيض والأسود مح َّببة، ليج ّسد اختفاء الأصوات البشرية تحت وطأة الرقابة والرقابة الذاتية والمراقبة. ينتقل الفيلم إلى مستقب ٍل لا ينتج فيه المعلومات سوى روبوتات شبيهة بالبشر والذكاء الاصطناعي،حيث أصبح بإمكانهم تقديم محتوى مثالياً لكنه يبقى منزوع الإنسانية. بين الذاكرة والاستشراف، يطرح الفيلم السؤال التالي: ماذا يتبقى لنكتبه حين تمّحى الكلمة البشرية كلها؟
