Fiction sur les ambitions musicales d’une jeune femme pratiquant le rap et qui se retrouve mêlée à des activités criminelles à Nairobi (Kenya).

La jeune rappeuse Amani (20 ans) vit avec son oncle (Shaka) et sa tante, dévots musulmans. Elle se prépare secrètement pour se présenter à un concours de jeunes talents. Son frère Abdosh veut être son manager. Finalement ils se trouent impliqués dans les activités criminelle d’un gangster local, Mlandimu.
