« Jmar alchahwa » : Bout de charbon rouge. Métaphore utilisée pour décrire un sentiment qui réchauffe, procure du plaisir mais qui peut faire mal si on s’approche trop près.

Sur la plage de Mohammedia, petite ville côtière du Maroc, Khaled vends des balades à cheval aux promeneurs. Il traîne avec ses amis, ils ont une vingtaine d’années et fantasment une sexualité qui leur est interdite. Ce jour-là, Khaled fait une rencontre, et va se trouver pris entre les interdits qu’on lui oppose et un désir qui le brûle de l’intérieur.

« Jmar alchahwa »: A piece of red coal. A metaphor used to describe a feeling that warms, gives pleasure but can hurt if you get too close.

On the beach in Mohammedia, a small coastal town in Morocco, Khaled sells horse rides to walkers. He hangs out with his friends, they are in their twenties and fantasise about a sexuality that is forbidden to them. That day, Khaled meets someone and finds himself caught between the prohibitions and a desire that burns him from the inside.
